And that is why I don't run mechanical oil pressure gauges. Though I did do the same thing with an electric when I had a brass pipe instead of the correct steel extension pipe. The brass cracked off at the block, and I lost 3 quarts of oil in about 10 miles.
Hey I still have your paint lol.

Everything looks like voodoo if you don't understand how it works

Thanks for stopping by yesterday Thain! It was a lot of fun!
For those of you who weren't there, Thain stopped over to drop off my paint yesterday. So Vicky's future paint is finally in my possession. After that, me, Phil, Thain, went and stopped at my friend's Brian's house, to look at his '91 Vic (has some IAC issues and stuff). From there we met Brian and I took them all to The Crystal Lake Diner in Vicky, except for Phil who wanted to drive his rice mobile :p After we all ate, we headed back to my place to talk some more. I served some coffee, tea, and donuts while we talked about all kinds of stuff. I had mentioned a dynomometer program for the iphone (and supposedly the ipod touch), Dynolicious it's called. It uses the accelerometer in the iphone to do calculations of horsepower and 1/4 mile and 0-60 times and other stuff too. Anyway Brian installed it on his iphone, and the next thing you know we were out the door. We all got into Thain's Mark VII and we headed for the nearest on ramp to Interstate 295. Man was his car comfy. I don't remember the readings really, I think Brian had the results forwarded to Thain's e-mail so he could probably post them up at his convenience. So then we headed back to my house, and we hung out there some more. And I think around 11:30 everyone was getting tired so everyone left. It was a lot of fun! It was nice seeing Thain and Phil again, Phil hasn't been able to be around so I haven't seen him around. Hopefully we can do it again sometime. And Thain, thanks again for bringing the paint.
