Hmm, a meet-up to go drag racing in ontario, I like that idea. Maybe next year after the H.O conversion/engine re-build is done and the wide ratio is in the vic. It will probly look like its falling apart by then. Lookin good colin, cant wait to see how she goes.

Suspence is killing me. I can't even begin to think how it's like not being able to see the progress everyday. It would drive me nuts. I can't wait to see how she comes out Colin.

me 2...its tough to go without your car for....3 weeks now.
but I know that he's doing a good job..and between working his 9-5 job and working at the shop all week/weekend, he has no time for anything else.
I'll have to take him out for drinks or something after its dun.
bought him and his buddy some HotNreadys when I was there sunday.

well, I forgot to mention that when I saw the car I noticed that my fog lamps were busted....:nonono:

my uncle explained...my aunt(his wife) was moving one of the cars at the shop and backed up a tad too close to my car...just enough to bust the lights.
so, to make it right, he told me to go out and buy any set of fog lights I want and he will install them behind the grille, reimburse me and not charge me anything at all.

so, I got these...exactly the same as the previous ones, same brand and shape...but just tinted blue...all that will do is make them shine more of a white instead of a pael yellow like the others...same price..$20 AutoZone lights.

also, I went ahead and got 12 qts of the Mobil 1 synthetic oil I'm gonna put in after the motor is broken in...like a dork, I took a pic.

Better than me. I still feed my motors dino juice. Though I'm considering getting the generic synthetic stuff for my new motor's 2nd oil change.

At Wally Marty they sell 5-quart jugs on sale for around $20. I stock up whenever I see it like that. Only dino juice I use is either Castrol or Valvoline. What kind of oil are you using for the initial fill and break-in? I used straight 30W. Anyone know who makes the oil for Wal-Mart's Synthetic that Gadget is going to use?
