well, I called my uncle today since its been 3 days since I last talked with him...just to see if he has gotten to it at all...and he has.
since my folks are going out of town on friday and will not return until Monday night, I told him I will NEED the car by then....well, being the nice uncle that he his, he's busting ass to make sure its driveable by friday.
so, the AutoMeter gauges may not be in, but it will be driveable either way.
if he has time to put the shifter in, the long tubes will be on...if not, I'll give him back the shorties for the time being..until its done.

yea, Mike, the long tubes are supposed to go in with it...but they were modded to fit with a floor shifter(cable linked)
but, my uncle just called me..the driver's side fit near perfect...with no mods to the column shifter linkage.
but, the passenger side does not fit...it can prolly be modded to fit, but it will have to wait.
Dave, I'm sorry dude...but until I get another set of headers to fit(full length), I'm gonna have to wait to sell them to ya if you dont mind.
I'm very sorry for any inconvenience...I didnt see this happening.
Dan, I'll take him out once, but not any more...he's taken WAY too long with it...he said he'd only have the car for 1 week, its been more than a month...and I know its a lot of work...a ton of it...but still, he knows I have to rely on others without my car...this would be much easier if I had another DD

no prob mang. you should thank my stupiity(the tranny thing) or i would have have them long time ago, then you would'nt be able to drive this friday untill you get another set...
Tom, you know the problem with the steering shaft on the driver side is well documented, so I bet they modified the header to avoid that and just assumed the passenger side will fit cause no shaft or linkage to get in the way and never actually mocked it up.
