My brother in law had a 87 Cougar XR7. On the dyno he put down over 355RWHP which translates to a little over 400 HP at the flywheel
His best time was a 13.6@103MPH with the car weighing over 4000lbs

Liar!! Nobody can resist that much temptation. It will start out with light driving for about 5 miles or so, then the thoughts of, "Well if its going to break its better I find out now" Thats when you start seeing how much throttle it takes to break the rear tires loose, then it becomes half throttle take off's and before you make it home you will have at least one WOT take off from a roll up to 80MPH.

The need for speed always wins.

Happened with my 408w within the last month Took it on its first roll-on'd full throttle from a stop a few days ago...it laid at least a second's worth of rubber on the 1-2 shift :banana:
