I'm scared of having the same results.
That's why I've kept in close contact with G-Force.
If I gotta rebuild that thing, I'm only gonna do it once.
2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

Don't bother with a bebuild, if you break it.

Get a 3550, and be done with it.

And you will never buy another trans again...

...or rebuild it with G-Force internals and have better than a 3550.

            A T-5 is still a T-5...

The tremec will use the same external stuff, and be stronger, out of the box.

Plus, you can get one for 8-900 bucks...

              G-Force T5 >>>>>>>> Out-of-the-Box 3550
Anyway... how could I get one for $8-900?
I doubt I'll actually snap my T5 (especially once I regear), but just in case, I've been keeping my eye out for replacement options.

                              You are dead on even.

I simply can't make up my mind.

But I know for a fact that I am buying a Tremec TKO600.
