I am still waiting for the fender skirts. Or, if you'd like to make them sound not-so old person...wind spats.
Those might be going on sooner than I thought Scott.
But I have a host of other things to do first (State inspection, alignment, tires, exhaust, chin spoiler, motor, trans, etc,.)
Being the ecoMod project what other weight saving plans do you have for it? You could ditch the tailpipes and run 45 degree turndowns pointed sideways, remove the rear seats and use racing seats, and replace the rear window glass with polycarbonate. Also I see steelies in the last pics, I assume those are winter wheels and you have lighter alloys for the warmer weather right?

Walker OEM duals with muffler deletes
Yeah.
Those are the 17" steelies for the Town Car. I need those for the algnment this week. I have a set of 15" steelies that are offically ready to have tires put on them.
I need 2 snow tires from my old 15" alloys removed and mounted on the 15" steelies, and then I bought 2 new snow tires to be mounted on the other 2 15" steelies.
Then the 17's go on the Town Car.
I may end up doing that with the exhaust, but we'll see.
I'll probably end up removing the rear seats, since it will be my DD, and I'll be the only one in it.
Also, I did buy an aluminum Teksid block that will cut 85 lbs off the car. I'll get to that as soon as I finish these "other wheels" that I have around here.
So my motivation is clear.
Time to get moving.
