Wiper Switch Removal for '94 Vic

Hi again. We got a wiper motor at the junkyard the other day. Anyway my dad put it in today and all the speeds work perfectly except high (it barely even moves, very slowly and sluggishly). My dad recalls that the other wiper motor didn't work on high either, it just worked like it did in the low position. So is it the motor or the switch and if so how do I remove the multifunction switch? This car has air bags, and the tilt wheel feature if it makes a difference. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks,
    John

the wiper switch is sperate from the multifunction switch. take the shrouds off the column, should be 2 screws holding it on.

it's separate from the multifunction switch? How can that be? it's the same lever and stuff.
