Do they? The trans shop said they were waiting for a new torque converter to come in. Apparently, the old one is worn out. I'm going to take a look at the old one when I get the car.

it's common practice to replace the converter when you do a rebuild. Converters are near impossible to flush and since they hold the majority of the fluid you replace it to avoid conatminating the new/rebuilt trans with any possible debris that was in the fluid in the old converter.2003 Town Car Signature - 3.27 RAR, Dual exhaust and J-mod - SOLD 9/2011
