200W on low beams, right? I still beat you with 20W, lol Looks great though, what exactly parts you used for that conversion, and how much it ended cost you? Also what's up with the blinkers, why not use the stock lens (or something with similar shape)?

Post up a model name or number for those lights as well. Would be nice to have that. Those are high and low. or just highs?

the diamond cut lights are just lens type that you hook up a regular light into the back of them. they are not sealed beam assemblies.

yeah, mine are the housings from ebay, with the apc hyperwhite bulbs from advance auto, h4 bulbs fit in, just the low beams, have to rewire to do the highs, and as for the blinkers, i have one stock lense, i cant for the life of me find another anywhere, no one has them, ebay, junkyards, no where, otherwise yeah, id use em, lol, and i dunno what other makes/models had similar things that would fit, anyone have suggesations?and as for total cost?30 bucks shipped to my door for the light housings, and 20 bux for the bulbs i replaced the shitty blue ones with, and everyone flashes their high beams at me constantly, lol

Yeah, I know the problem with those lenses - I'll check when I go junkyard hunting this weekend, if I find a good set I'll pull them for you.

As for people flashing the high beams - it makes sense for me to get that, since my low beams run all 4 lamps, but in your case people are just fucking stupid. I mean come on, if a car with 4 headlights has only two of them turned on that clearly are not the high beams, even kids know that, lol

Actually now I have the smart idea to hook up the high beams and the low beams together, so that the low beams setting of the multi switch runs only the low beams (220W of power), and the high beam settings runs all 4 low and 4 high together (220 + 260 =480W!!!) It only takes two diodes and

damn tc, those lights look pretty good! ive been looking for the h1/h4 conversion thing for my cv. i bet those lights would look rather nicely with my wig-wag system hooked up to them.

ebay mang, search for 4x6 headlights, and they look sweet if you hook the wigwag to the lights then hook another wigwag to the accessory lights in them, kinda crazy lookin

Do you know what years fit your car? I'll be at the wreckers Saturday, I know there are quite a few TC's there.

'80-'84 is the production span of those lenses IIRC, maybe even the Mark VI uses them, but I'm not too sure about that.

I like the brighter headlights, but not the diamond-cut ones. It's the Silverstar headlights for my Grand Marquis.

83tc, you do now have another lens for your blinkers - came off an '83 Mark VI, looks like it's the same as yours. It's a symmetrical design, so you can put it on either side. I'd have picked up the other one too, but some idiot had tried to take the lens off the bezel, which is a big no-no with those things. I'll throw you some pics tomorrow when I get home and find the cable for my camera. The lens itself is in very very good condition, the only problem is that the studs came off the fiberglass when I was turning the nuts inside the fenders, but I was really gentle with it so if you find youself some studs you can screw them in right away, and if you put some good epoxy on the thread it'll be just like new. I'd do it for you, but I didn't have time to fight the studs, plus I'm out of epoxy anyhow. It cost me $2, it will be yours for that + shipping, lol. Let me know if you want it.
