well today I re-checked the timing and it is correct, then I swapped out the plugs (which were BLACK with carbon deposits after like 2 days of driving) I am running rich!!

How are your oxygen sensors connected? Your air filter isn't clogged and the vacuum line to the MAP is in good shape, correct? If the MAP line is leaky or pinched, it could make it read low vacuum, causing extra fuel to be fed to the engine. If the oxygen sensors aren't hooked up or they aren't close to the ends of the headers, it might also give an erronous lean code.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
