No. Ho has more duration, by at least 5 degrees at 0.050
85 4 door 351 Civi Crown Victoria - Summer daily driver, sleeper in the making, and wildly inappropriate autocross machine
160KMs 600cfm holley, shorty headers, 2.5" catted exhaust, 255/295 tires, cop shocks, cop swaybars, underdrive pulley, 2.73L gears.
waiting for install: 3.27's, Poly bushings, boxed rear arms, 2500 stall converter, ported e7's, etc
06 Mazda 3 hatch 2.3L 5AT (winter beater that cost more than my summer car)

HO is something like 210/210 @ .050 and .440/.440 lift though I think '88. '89-up added a little duration to either the intake or the exhaust.
Lowpo specs seem to be pretty hard to come by, since all the ones I've seen seem to be for a lowpo flat cam, when the cam in question is usually a lowpo roller. If I were really ambitious I'd stick my old lowpo roller in a block and measure it ....
Advertised specs for replacement lowpo flat cams seem to usually be in the 190 @.050 range. Bit less lift too. Consider that it's intended to be run in a small engine AND run super-smooth even with lots of intake and exhaust restrictions AND make peak horsepower at something like 3500rpm ....
Wait, I'm an idiot typing all that. Have a search for my thread on SpeedPro replacement cam specs and part numbers.Last edited by 1987cp; 11-30-2011, 08:01 PM.2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Does anyone know what the power band range (rpm) is for a 1989 HO cam in a 91 GM AOD w/2.73?
It seems to really start pulling at 25 mph up to about 65 mph.90 Colony Park LS with GT 40 heads and intake. HO cam, 65 MM TB, 67 MM EGR spacer. Has a 75 MM Pro Flow mass air sensor. Borla XS mufflers. 3L55. Shift kit, 2000 stall Tq convertor...Bilstein shocks, front and rear sway bars.
90 Colony Park LS 64,000 miles all original. 3L55 tow package....front and rear sway bars.
91 Grand Marquis GS....HO motor..Bilstein shocks poly bushings and police swaybars. This one handles the best.
70 Torino Squire with M code 351 Cleveland 3.00 has Magnaflow mufflers. Hidden headlights and power windows. All original

2500-5200 rpm IIRC for the HO cam in stock HO engine.
as for speeds... that moment you feel the sudden rush in acceleration... that's about 2500RPM... If you're holding first... then yeah... 55-60mph would probably be your shift point so the trans would actually kick into 2nd a little under 65. Without a tach though, there's no real good way to know.

Man were talking about same thing. Its just the numbest you listed represent actual valve lift. And the numbers posted in the link show true cam lift.“Cars are the only thing on earth that will beat you, break you, make you bleed, make you cry, spend all your money, spend all your time, not work and not care that you will love more, the more they abuse you.” -Anonymous
