if you're not getting a tps code, its probably fine. They don't have to be set to .99v, just has to be within the ECM's OK range, which is something like .8-1.2v. The spout connector is more important, it will cost you a lot of power and fuel economy if the timing is not advancing.

well thing is right now I dont have spout connector cause ford pulled it cause the flim sensor ( i think thats the name of if thing at bottom of distibutor was bad) but when I went to adjust the tps in the summer it was at 1.75 volts than I thought maybe that was the problem all along but I have to get a new spout connector dam yards around me wont let me pic such a small part.

                whats the timing at?

if you dont have a spout, that means you are forced running it locked out, Id give at least 25 because that is your total timing

post a want-ad, I'm sure someone has or can get you a spout connector and drop it in the mail. You can't determine how the thing performs if the timing advance is not operating correctly. In the meantime, take a small piece of wire and just jump the two pins in the spout connector socket together. Tape t up so it can't short, and drive. The spout connector is not anything magical, its just a jumper.

1.75v is out of range. If someone has cranked the "throttle screw" up to compensate for a bad IAC, you're never going to get the TPS in range though, so you have to determine why its high. If its a bad sensor, replace the sensor. If its a good sensor with the throttle blade cranked open, fix that.
