Air Filter Questions
I would like to know where or how to find out the square in. needed to draw in x amount of cfms for our EFI intakes? I took the CAI (really HAI) off of my mom's CV to start making a box or tube to grab cold air from the grille. I found some left-over heating duct that fits over my CAI, but it only leaves 2" of space around the air filter element. It doesn't look like there's enough area to draw in a sufficient amount of air. I might make or find a box to surround the filter element (like some of the trucks and Mustangs have) and leave it open at the front and top. Hopefully this will grab the air coming in from the grille. Oh yeah, I will be removing the coolant/washer fluid reservoir.
