So my mchanic gave this reactive Cone Filter setup for free. But comparing it the snorkel setup on the car not really sure which provides better air. On one hand Snorkel looks more constrickive but cooler air from the front of the car. The cone looks like its more free flowing. Any advice on which is better? And where is a good spot to mount the cone?

Ok, yea there many places to mount i so right it's sitting in that general area. As for the heat sheild thats going to have wait for a bit, minimum wage sux but oh well. I think I have some straps at the house somewhere for securing it down. I'll get it all cleaned up and put in properly and post some pics. Thnx for the advice everybody.
