    Codes..

    Can anyone tell me what this crap means?

    44) Secondary air injection system inoperative - right side (R)

    94) Secondary air injection system inoperative (left side) (R)

    12) cannot control RPM during engine running self-test high RPM check (R)

    31) EVP or PFE circuit below minimum Voltage (O)(R)(C)

    Um......The truck or the Vic? What it sounds like to me...If its the vic....AND if you took out the air pump and emissions junk....That the computer is throwing codes at you telling you to fix it...Its funny like that.....This is just a guess..

        Sounds like an IAC, otherwise I wouldn't worry about the first two...

          egr posistin sensor or a broken vac line on that code 31
          same with the thermactor codes, vac lines prob fuxored

          1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

            EGR is stuck/clogged, sensor is bad, IAC clogged....

              Could also be the ports in the back of the heads are clogged. The thermactor crap won't really affect anything.

                I'll have to take the egr and iac off and clean 'em then, see if that works. Then check for vac leaks. Been thinkin' bout throwin it back on the road...I dunno. Truck seemed to be OK in the snow today, I have 250 lbs of sand in the bed.

                  44 & 94 are for the smog stuff, from all that I understand they will not adversely affect the engine. Anyone that rips the smog stuff out will have these two codes, I do.
