      im the proud owner of 2 box mercs. an 82 an the gf's 88. got a buddy with an 88 Towny and my dads got an 84 Vic Wagon

              Nice to see some other Panthers from the area. Didn't know this existed. I'd love to bring out my '84 but it's been mothballed for wayyyy to long since the kid was born. Been chipping away here and there. And yes it was built here, in fact my Dad retired from the Hazelwood plant and actually had a hand in building the very same car that he bought and I later got when he upgraded. Was in water test at the time. To this day, still no leaks I guess quality really was "Job 1" that day.

              I might see if I can make it out this year. I'd love to get into a show with you guys, it looks like fun. The only Panther I have even close to worthy would be my 03 LX Sport. I've managed to keep it looking good so far, even for a 13 year old car I'd like to think!

                  I'm out in Old Monroe in Lincoln county right off Hwy 79 and 47. I'll keep an eye out for happenings and see if I can make one some time. I'm used to long drives to get pretty much anywhere so getting out to you all shouldn't be a problem if time allows.

                  Wonder if my Dad knows the 2 others from the plant?? He retired in 95. Small world.

                      I don't have a fb account but I'm sure I can find it anyways. My google-fu is strong.

                      I have family off 94 and Harvester, and also off Mid-Rivers in Cottleville so I'm in the area often. In fact the intersection of Caulks Hill and Harvester (by the Shell station) is a favorite place of mine to shut people down when they think the right lane continues onto Caulk's Hill and try to shove me over I always get a good laugh when my big old boat slams the door and chirps the belt at the shift, lol...
