i need a universal electric fuel pump and i dont know how much p.s.i. ,c.f.h. and or c.f.m. that i need.
i found this one on ebay . will it work for my 84 gm
i don't have a lot of money. i cant use the original pump due to the mustang tank swap. and the old stangs used a mechanicel pump on the block. which i cant use...
Why can't you just modify the stock pump? Bosch makes nice frame mount pumps that people use universally..
If the stock pump is too large of a diameter, just geta stock 87-93 mustang fuel pump. It's smaller diameter and would fit in the tank a bit more easily. Just make sure to use some high pressure fuel hose. You should need a pump that can do about 60-70psi and flow over 80lph or so.
Not sure, I'm not too familiar with the old tank, but I think it wouldn't be too difficult. I'd just take out the part that has the pickup and put the fuel pump on it. Prolly a lot easier said than done though.
