the 05 rear end uses a 3-link set up it will not work unless you have some fabricating skills and can make brackets and weld them, on top of that the rear is probalby about 3" to narrow.

Yeah I know there is gonna be a lot of fabrication to get it to fit, but if I can get it to work for free that'd be awesome. The width thing is the only one I'm stuck on. When I go home this weekend I'll see how long it is and if it will work or not. That is pretty much the determining factor. The brackets I can cut off my original and weld on to the new, hopefully. But if it's too short I can't do much with it, however if it’s too wide (I doubt it) I might still be able to do something. The Muastang is thinner than our Vics an GMs, but all new cars have a larger backspacing too.

We'll see this weekend if it will work or not.

a too narrow axle could be good for super huge tires, and tub it out

I aint got time or power to be messen with no 12" wide tires. LOL, but it would look just too cool to see a set of fat tires on her.

I'll work on a photoshop of that.

if you but to much negative offset you can load your bearings in a bad way causing the bearings to wear out wear out very fast.

also im putting 15x10s in the rear, that will fit up to a 325 tire.

Also not sure if the rear discs from a 'stang rear woudl work properly with the E brake cables from a box. You coudl strip the gears out if nothing else, assuming its an 8.8" rear.

How are you measuring offset? Is neagative father in from center or out?

I don't want to go farther in from center. I'd like it to be center.

when the mounting flange of the wheel is inboard of the centerline of the wheel it has negative offset
