It's a Ford Racing C460 cam. I wanted to stay with the whole Ford theme, and this cam was actually a little "hotter" than the catalog had it. Here's a shot of the specs. This is the biggest hydraulic lifter cam that Ford has for the 460.

Tom, I looked at the SF07 dates, and that weekend is my 12-hour shift weekend. If it was on the next weekend, I'd be off. I'll try my best to get someone to work for me at least for that Saturday, but one guy is already on vacation that week.

MeLikeyStripperChicks, this was a dream engine to build, and this past year it was now or never for me. I had a nice bonus check in the beginning of the year, and I had a killer year for OT, due to being one man down at work for 3/4 of the year. I lived at work. At least I can look at something that made it all worth it. I spent alot on this setup, but everything is right. I can't wait to take it to the dyno and track, after the suspension and fuel system is done.

Thanks everyone else for the props.

Never! Gonna put them back on sometime, just gotta have a good while to do it since I do it all by hand. Can't afford to pay someone, nor do I trust someone to do a half way decent job like I want.

A little icing on the cake.....this will go either on my teardrop hood scoop or fender in place of the "460" Eagle.

Ooo...I like! Where'd you get them from? I have a website to get emblems from and was going to get a pair of 302 badges for my Merc...But haven't gotten around to it.

That is a Hurst Competition Plus shifter for a 66-70 Fairlane/Torino. I bought it from Summit.

I haven't posted much with the car, so here's a few more things I've done. I rebuilt the whole front end, so now it rides like a new car. I also upgraded the fuel system to handle all that power. She really sets you back in the seat now. I also had my fuel bowl levels too high, so after a little adjustment, she idles alot better now with quicker and crisper throttle response. I'm going to a Big Block Ford bash down in Owensboro, KY the last weekend in April, so I'll she what she does in the 1/8th mile. I hope to get it to the local track before then, but I don't know if I'll have time to go with work.

Here's a shot on the back end. I have -12 line feeding the pump, and -10 all the way to the regulator up front. It has a built in -08 return directly on the discharge side of the pump, back into the tank. I added an -08 vent line with rollover valve. I hope I don't have to see if that works.

I relocated the coil to the other side, under the MSD box, but I actually didn't have to. I spent more time trying to figure out where I was going to put everything, then the job itself. That big Magnafuel fuel filter just before the regulator, is what took me the longest to see where it was going to go. I had a new MSD coil bracket, insulated with some foam tape, and used a -10 coupler to connect it to the regulator. I have a -10 bulkhead fitting to pass it through the inner fender.

I hope they throw me off the track and tell me I need a roll bar.

HAHA! Nice job Pat. If they do, are you going to put a roll bar in it?
