    Can someone measure their Town Car Moonroof Dimensions. Please.

    I want to find out if there are 2 or more size moonroofs that were installed in town cars throughout 80-89. If you have a town car would you mind taking a quick front to rear, side to side measurement for me please? I measured a moonroof in a 83 and it was roughty 38.5 x 21.5 from trim to trim. The trim is approximately 3/4 of an inch so the glass surface would be that much less. I want to install the largest moonroof that came in these cars so I have not decided to pull the trigger until I know. The cars with the full carriage top from ASC appear to be the largest moonroofs because it appears to span the width of the stitching in the top, but this maybe just an illusion in photos. Some of the other cars seen below appear to have a moonroof that is just as big, but I can't tell.
    I have compiled a host of photos from various cars with moonroofs and I am still unable to determine if there are different size roofs.
    Take a look. Let me know if you have any info or opinions.

      I can try to measure my brothers '88. Best I can do for a front to back measurement, is measure the opening of the headliner, since his has a half vinyl top. Some of the glass hides under it.

        Anything will help. If you come up with a width exceeding 21.5 I'll know that sunroof is larger than the 83' I measured.

          I got a width of roughly 44'' and length(front to back) of roughly 21-22''. When looking at it, the glass seems to take up a lot of front part of the roof.

              If you got a width of roughly 44inches, then that is definitely a different size moonroof. Okay. I'll keep looking around for a big'n.
