I met another Lincoln TC owner tonight...

While out cruising tonight, I spotted a barge TC. I high-beamed the guy, and he slowed down. After he turned onto another street, I turned around and followed him. When I came up to the house, I waited till he got out of his car, then I went over and introduced myself.

It was dark out, so I hope he wasn't alarmed lol...Anyway, Bob is the proud owner of a blue '79 Collector's Series TC!! His barge is in mint shape. Bob was just coming back from the A&W car show. He's planning to attend Thursday night's Home Depot car show and invited me to attend I'll take pics if I make it to the show!

PS: Bob was pleased to hear that I own 2 Panthers He also owns a nice Aero CV and customized Chevy pick-up!

cool! I always feel weird about approaching people to talk cars...usually they don't mind but you get some that seem weirded out - I went to a car club (cape breton antique and custom car club, some new stuff but mostly old detroit steel) gathering in a parking lot before their cruise night and while it says on their website and in ads that new members are always welcome I got the distinct impression that most of them were looking at me like I had 6 heads.


I didn't park with them so as to not embarrass anyone and was just roaming around looking at what was out.. I was talking to an old guy with a 302 Torino GT that seemed weirded out that I just started asking him about his car. Though, the first thing he said to me while I was standing there looking at it was "boy, you'd look good drivin' that car!", to which I replied "I think anybody would!"

i just walk up to peopel and ask them about their cars usually i compliment them first lol some are receptive and some are not lol right now im trying to get a local car club going here called the B.O.A the box owners association i have at least two interested but they own chevyies lol i gotta really talk to the guy around the corner form me who owns a box vic....
