Difference in frames?

Does anyone know if 2 door and 4 door frames are EXACTLY the same? Im thinking about trying to find a vic or grand marq to use for a frame. Then I'll build the frame up and put the body of my car onto that frame. Its just an idea.

frames are identical. no difference. it was actually discussed one night on the "other" site. you could right now take your body off the current frame and then put a 4dr frame underneath.

i think the wagon frames might be different tho

hmm, i thought wagon frames were a little beefier. plus the mounts for the exhaust are different..

the exaust hangers are different but then again there are two different tail pipes on the wagons...any ways same shit different package!...whats wrong with ur frame anyways?

Nothins wrong with my frame. I wanted to build my car from the frame up but still be able to drive it. So, Ill build everything onto the frame and swap the body. Plus this way I can put some kind of paint/coating on the frame to make it look good and not rust.
