my friend who happens to be a die-hard chevy fan(poor, poor man ) told me that he actually likes the vic better than the crapiece. he had a fully loaded one, and he said after actually riding in mine that he wanted a vic. case in point. when he jumped a set of tracks in his caprice, he demolished the front end. he blew the shocks, tires, bent the swaybar, put a hole in the oil pan and actually bent the bumper. he got an 85 or 86 vic, and basically repeated the jump. he flattened one tire and scuffed the bottom of the bumper teh vic is definitely the better built car between the two

I've driven my friends '86 Caprice with a 305. Drove nice, mind you I'm very partial to my Vic, but it certaintly wasn't a bad car.
