    Light color

Alright so I use to have blue interior lights. They were nice but they were too dark. Didn't really light anythingi up. They also kida looked ricey. My new gauges came with green caps (red ones too) I was thinking since the stock for dash lights and everything are green I should make them green. I was also thinking maybe ditching the green and going clear. THAN I thought maybe Blue. Tell me what you think?

(Is there a way to change the one behind the radio?)

Enigma's right, red doesn't affect the way you see the road and everything outside in no way. I have "candy apple red" main lights (dome and rear pillars), and the ones in the front doors and under the seats I sprayed blue to make their light white (so I can find stuff if I drop it on the floor) - I like the way it looks, and it is not distracting at all while driving.

            Alot of people said red.

Ivan do you have any pictures?

Keeping everything green would deffinatly be easier. Turning everything blue would look sweet, and red would be pretty cool.

Everyone always says it's too bright. Do people realize there is a dimmer switch? :p. I think I miht go clear because I don't think the tach can change colors. I don't know how the light comes out. The radio is still oing to be green but who's radio ever matches anyways.

Blackhawk, hold on for a minute, which lights are you talking about? I first thought you wanna change all interior lights, now it seems it's the dash that you're wondering about? My dash is stock green-bluish, I'd hate to have it red (drove a Pontiac Grand Prix several times, didn't like it). For your car I think the combination of blue dash lights, blue front doors lights, blue (facing the front) and red (facing the rear) underseat lights, and red dome and rear pillars (if you have these) will look good. Get a TownCar dome light with the built in map lights, then add a second pair of clear white undeseat lights, wire the clears inderseat lights and the map lights together, and put them on a separate switch - this way when the doors open you'll have the "cool" lights turn on, but when you actually need to see/find something just turn on the clears. How about that?

Oh, and pic - there was one somewhere, but I can't find it, I'll snap you some when I get the car running again (battery is almost drained now).

Yea.. the speedo color. I took off the caps and it's clear now. I like it but it's plain. The only problem is I don't know how to get to the light in the tach. I have an equus tach. It's from sumint, the nice little 34 kit. Anyone know how to change that?

I use to have my interior lights blue. The floor, the doors, he celiing. It was nice but too dark. I couldn't see.

If I don't stay clear I think I'm deff going to go with blue.

I always loved the green backlight on my merks gauges with the red interior.
