I have an 89 Country Squire that I acquired three years ago in crusty-but-usable condition. Recently, I've been trying to make it less crusty and more usable.
There is an opening at the rear of the headlner that obviously originally held a dome/cargo light. It was MIA by the time I got the car, though electrical wirng is still present. At the center of the car (above the front seatbacks) there is a dome light with two reading lamps. I thought I needed another one of those and grabbed one from a junkyard 87 Crown Vic, but it's defnitely the wrong shape and wrong wiring.
I tried looking online to see if perhaps the same item was used on other Ford products of the era, but I haven't been successful in that search.
Does anyone have a part number, or interchange details, and hopefully a reasonably-priced source?
