Job done! Thanks for the help, I was ready to say screw it and dump the other radio back in. Definitely like the OEM look, and it plays my tapes.

Ah... you got one of the snap in ones... technically that mounting will work, but it works better in the Metra kit 99-5510. You only need the top part with all the mounting options on it. You will need to use some cutters to remove some of the extra ones and definitely the top and bottom ones, but it's what I use in my 88 and I've had the stock radio from my 93 (like the one you have in there now) mounted in that thing and it was perfect for that.
