Hey folks. Just took the car for a ride yesterday and I noticed that when I put the dash back together after installing the new heat blend door actuator that the plastic trim that goes under the dash above the driver's pedals is hanging down at the firewall side so it hits your feet when you're on the pedals. This is certainly not how it was before.
I thought I had installed it correctly, since it hugs around the fuse box properly (or at least it looks like it does) and the light hooked up no problem, but it definitely isn't installed properly near the firewall. In fact, when I disassembled the bracket under the steering wheel I remember it hanging at the front and holding on near the firewall and I had to pull it out to get the trim out of the way.
Anyway, does someone have a pic of this installed properly?? I just need some reference so I can correct this problem.
I would post a pic of what I'm talking about, but I'm at work (I drive the Kia right now because commuter fuel consumption) so I'm hoping my description is good enough for now.
