    Its half the size in depth and very light. Makes it easy to install

      A slide mount under the dash ? I remember them in the 70s. Under the dash,you are advertising it to be stolen faster. That means more collateral damage to your car. If you get a modern stereo, get a newer MGM center dash piece, that does not have the shaft holes. Much cleaner, no cutting. That is, unless you have that piece already.

        If I could find a HiFi media receiver I'd buy one yet so far no one makes an HD radio that doesn't also have a CD player. At least not that I'm aware of..

          Tom LOL......back in the day whenever I left the car I pulled the radio and put it in the trunk

              least headache if you want stock functionality is to have a stock unit rebuilt.
