    Plastic triple gauge pod?

Anyone know where I can find a decent plastic triple-gauge pod? Easiest way to describe it, I'm looking for something akin to the old Stewart-Warner "Mini-Panel" but just the pod, and for conventional 2 1/16" gauges of course. S-W doesn't seem to make them anymore (either the pod or the Mini-Panel), and I want something a bit cleaner (and less reflective) than the flat chrome mounts that everyone has. I can find contoured ones meant for the top of the dash, and pillar pods everywhere, but not the plain basic unit I'm looking for.

I'm planning to mount it below and far enough behind the ashtray that it can still be opened - I almost never have it open, but I don't want to eliminate it.

eBay would be your best bet. I have an old 2 guage pod under the dash in my 89'. There's a screw that holds the plastic dash to the metal skeleton that worked great to mount it too. You can open the ashtray all the way with no clearance issues. Another option is the factory police gauge pods.

That's what I was afraid of. Was hoping that there was something in current production.

Your mounting setup is exactly what I'm envisioning. I'm not too keen on hacking up my dash for the police gauges.

There's always the mustang a-pillar gauge pods.

The set I buy is made by Big End performance and comes with wood grain vinyl sticker to put on.. Gotta order from them or find a speed shop that carries there stuff.
