I know how to get it through the firewall and to the back seats, but i don't see a way to get the wire to the trunk. It's a 2001 Grand Marquis gs if that helps. Also, how can I neatly get my rca wires into the back of my head unit with no wires visible?

take the back seat out... the seat part... remove the bolts holding the back part but leave it in place. you'll be able to lift the rubber matting and gain access directly to the trunk very easily.

I typically feed them down behind the head unit after pulling it and watch them drop down to the floor and pull from there and weave it around other harnesses under the dash to the side rails. This, of course, requires removing the under dash covers to be able to see all said wiring. With the head unit out, it's really pretty easy.

Oh pete.. When I did mine, I taped the RCAs to a coat hanger and stuck that down behind the head unit and to the floor, where I ran them up over the harnesses ( Like Sly ) and did the same with the amp switch wire. Then like Pete, under the door sill plates where my 06 happened to have a nice wire organizer (Probably for all those police sub woofers) and to the trunk. Keep your shit orderly in the trunk, I zip tied everything to the back of the seat bracing to keep it out of the way and nice. Actually just did that like last week..__________________________________________________

in mine, the stuff running to the rear is in the channels as posted above. I used 2 10AWG wires to cover the needed power though instead of one fat wire since I had the 10AWG on hand and my amp only needs 60A peak.
