If anyone can point me in the right direction to buying a glove box door for a 89" Crown Vic that would be greatly appreciated. I'm having a very tough time trying to find one, and the junkyards around my area don't have any Crown Victoria's in or around that year. Right now its being held up with a piece of bungee cord because the lock broke to the door and the springs actually shot out so there's no hope for that. Please help!

So your door is fine? it is just the latch mechanism housing the keyhole etc that is broken?~David~

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

You just need the lock/latch mechanism. I'm not sure what else it was used in but I know that it was used in other vehicles. The one I got the seller said came out of a jeep.
Check this thread out for replacing the thing: http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...love-box-latchVic
