    What else has it?

After almost 25 years, the steering wheel in the '90 Merc is seriously showing it's age. I don't really care for the worn out leather, the plain one is much nicer.

Do any other Ford products use the same steering wheel without leather? Or am I stuck looking for a 90-91 MGM or CV without a leather wrapped wheel? If such a creature exists.

I'm hoping that the 90ish-95 wheels will work, but I know the 90-91 had their own dash and steering columns. Maybe they had their own steering wheels too?
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.

Can you use one from an earlier year? I found one that I assume is vinyl from the junkyard my leather
One was in bad shape. Better feel and easier to clean. (work car)

For about $65 you could run a 4 spoke grant GT.

I want a stock wheel. Don't want to have to re-locate the cruise and horn buttons.

So, any wheel with that "bomb bag" will interchange?

Would a new clockspring be appropriate during a steering wheel change?

Did not realize you had those controls on your wheel. Have not been fortunate enough to
own a car that new. Ha

I wouldn't exactly call it "new." haha

I'm pretty sure that 90-95 will work... just look for the same style wheel without the leather and with the same controls. Should be a direct swap IIRC (harnesses and all). But they all require that steering wheel puller.

I'll just have the yard pull it for me.

Knowing my luck, I'll find a gray leather-less wheel at a U-Pull type yard.

Could always get a wheelskins leather cover for it and call it a day.

IIRC, Bronco's and F-150's of the same gen used the same style steering wheel.

Finding one shouldn't be a problem.

Mustangs used the same wheel too on the 90 and up... Shit! I think that wheel is even on the 97's IIRC
