Back-of-Seat "Pouch" ...Picture Request

Hi,

I got a similar post over on the Lincoln Online site - some of you may have already seen it - about acquiring back-of-seat "pouches" for my 1994 Lincoln Town Car Executive, which doesn't have any. I think I can get them from either the Town Car models that do have them, or from a box Grand Marquis / Crown Victoria. The seats are built the same so they should swap OK.

I have to drive quite a distance to get to any yards to track these down, so before I do that, does anyone on here happen to have any pics of the pouch "plate" pulled off the back of the seat? Pics that show how it attaches and where the clips/pegs are located. I'd like to see it first so I can at least be fairly sure this is doable before I drive a million miles and start ripping junker seats apart.

This is piece I'm looking to add to my seats...

Sorry, no pics from me.

I've had my eye out for some beige ones for a while myself, no luck. The junkyards I go to have recently gotten rid of all of their box panthers and along with them a set or two of grey ones... I really wish I would have grabbed more stuff from those cars before they scrapped them... anyways

They're pretty simple to take off, just some push pins. Flat screwdriver or a prybar or door panel removal tool is all it takes. I'm not so sure which ones are compatible though.

These are about 14 7/8" wide by 12 3/4" tall. Pin spacing is about 13" by 10". The middle ones are about 4 1/4" from the top ones.

Thank you very much for posting that. They look exactly the same size as the piece on my seats, but I'll have to measure to be completely sure. They are the very thing I'm looking for as well, so now I just gotta find a set in grey. I have thought about going multi-color, though. Maybe score a set of pouches, front-center arm rests, and possibly headrests in navy blue but keep everything else as it is. I think it would sorta pop... or look really tacky!

Side note: those BIG headrests that were on some of the 80's panthers, how likely is it they'll swap onto the newer seats with the pill-shaped headrests? Or did they only work on specific years?

I'm pretty sure they swap right in. They are a one year only item, '89 iirc (if not, '88...)

Yup! The Town Car seats I put in my 85 have them - they are awesome. Almost TOO comfortable on road trips...
