Well since the car sat in a barn for a few years it has kind of a wierd ododr in the vents when I turn them on.. I had the vent on high today while driving around to maybe try and flush it out.. it has gotten a little better but i was wondering what you guys would recomend to get the smell out.. Thanks!

It seems like you have mold. I have used Lysol spray and Endbac spray. I would not drive the car for a day or so after spraying the car to let the spray do its job. Then I would drive it with the windows down until you don't smell it anymore. This is just my opinion and I done it to my vehicles when needed.
Another possibility is something died inside the vent area. Hopefully that is not the case.Last edited by Mainemantom; 09-16-2013, 01:47 AM.

pull the blower fan out and wash out the box as best you can, being sure to get on the evaporator. Make sure the evaporator case drain works. If that doesn't make the smell go away, some lysol or similar sanitizing sort of thing sprayed into the air intake should help.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
