Bullitt Gas Pedal fit 87' town car?

Considering I have a 94 Mustang Gt Pedal assembly, I want to install the Bullitt Pedal Pad set. My question is whether anyone can confirm that the 94-04 mustang gas pedal will fit the 87' town car. From my limited memory I believe they both have the same style roll pin, but I don't know anything more than that.

you may have to swap the mounting brackets, but if the geometry of the pedal itself is the same, it should work.
