whenever it rains and my car sits, water leaks into the interior on the passenger side underneath the glove box. i know the spot where the water is comin into on the inside, but dont know the source of the leak. ill post a pic when i get home tonight

On your car it is most likely plugged drainage holes under the plastic piece between the hood and windshield. If you can remove it and clean out all the junk, there is a good chance it will fix your problem.
