    Wood grain...REAL wood

    .............like take the bezels to a carpernter/wood worker as a template

    fabricate edges to pop back in

    Anyone done it?

      was thinking of doing something like this...doesnt seem like a completly intangible proposition
      ....and if one were able to do so....would make one hell of an interior

      or is this a pipe dream?

        I have removed window switch pannels plates and replaced them with burled walnut veneer. Also started on the dash but been to busy to finish that part. Should be some pics in readers rides CREAMY.

          Its been done. I've seen real wood kits in 80s Continentals and Mercedes and such. If you have woodworking ability, its probably somewhat easier. The only thing I can do with wood that I can disclose in this family-friendly environment is light it on fire or cut it too short.
