Back seat modification

Going to get a plush velor uphosltery(Dark Platinum) done thorought my car...2004GM

Ive noticed there is little leg room in the back....is there a way to modify the bench seats to
create more space back there???....swaps from other rides...or what have you?

the only real way to create more leg room in the back is to move the front seat forward or cut the car in half and extend it (ala limo... but only a few inches instead of 10 feet or more).

the other option is to find a long wheelbase taxi. I've heard of them, but never actually seen them myself.

Those few extra inches on the floor and in the size of the door really make a big difference. I kept wishing they would have brought that out in a regular ls/lx.

maybe you could slightly thin the seatback and/or shorten how far the seat bottom extends forward. You have integral sheetmetal that holds stuff together directly below and behind the rear seats, so without a welder and careful planning you can't do much beyond reshaping the padding itself.

P74 Vic or a Towncar is what you want. A Towncar L is really what you want for extra legroom.

^thats not what i meant lol. NYC taxi's pretty much came as a long wheelbase car.
