My eldorado had a really dark dash and so have all the others ive seen it was a 95. Idk if maybe the older eldos had lighter wood or not my one buddies 85 was all plastic. Though out of every vehicle ive owned/driven/rode in I like my mercs the best, box town cars being a close second, and a toss up on some days.

Y'all do realize you're comparing the dashboards in Bentleys with that of a Ford right? Those cars aren't even allowed to park in the same lot, let alone be compared to one another.

well considering 1979 Fords still run......

English engineering might be capable of making a pretty vehicle, but they don't make one thats nice to work on. That said, I'd love a 60s Jag E or Aston Martin. I may be inclined to fit a less fussy driveline though.

no reason I couldn't evict the Prince of Darkness and roll my own wiring. I'd be interested in the vintage Jag for it's looks, not its inner workings.

I've always loved the trunk space of these cars. Its almost like having a pickup with a small bed. I hauled a Taurus SHO motor, intake to oil pan in the trunk, and shut the lid. The guy i bought it from laughed his ass off.
