The Drivers door striker bushing just broke on my 86 MGM but half of it is still there. I'll probably replace it tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I'll post the dimensions when I take it off.
They are .510 ID, .675 OD , and .885 long the closest fractional dimensions are 1/2" ID 11/16 OD and 7/8 long. Made a new one, but haven't had a chance to put it on because of the rain
they sell them in the HELP section at most parts stores... if they don't fit (length is usually the issue) you'll have to replace it with the replacement strikers. I had to do this on my Mark.
Put on the new bushing today. Had to hacksaw the old big washer off the stud, then drill out a new one with a "U" drill bit and tap it 7/16-14. A little more than the 5 minute job I thought it was going to be, but not bad. Used a big rare earth magnet to hold the backing plate in place. I don't know if it would have fallen down without it.
I think the upper pin on the wagons is a lot smaller than the door strikers. Not sure if there is something that fits these properly or not. Best solution may end up being finding the original OD, buying solid rod in that size, and boring it out to fit the pin properly.
