86 towncar interior swap help needed

So, I am about to pic up a very nice two owner low mileage 86 town car, but I am not too thrilled about the cloth interior. It is in very nice shape but I prefer leather, I'm a big guy and it makes sliding in and out of the car easier. I have been searching the local yards for lincolns but haven't found too many 80s so I was wondering what other years or possibly what other lincolns/ford products have leather seats that I could swap in? I have owned a 93 town car for the last seven years but I am not to up to date on the 80s lincolns.

this is how it looks right now, I'd like to eventually trade up from the black 13s to some all chrome 14s. Picking it up from a fellow lowrider, 127,000 miles originally owned by the elderly lady a few streets over. He has replace the front rotors, pads, calipers, bearings, rear hardware and shoes, new coolant hoses and new heater core, also has new head unit and speakers. Only thing it needs is a headliner and from what he described it sounds like the little plastic bushings in the sunroof motor needs to be replace, motors spins but only moves back about an inch. But hell only gonna cost me $1500.

I can't tell from that pic, is the interior gray or tan?
Seats that will fit that won't look dumb are 1979-1989 Ford Crown Vic, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars of the same years will bolt directly in. The problem with the Ford and Mercury seats is though, if power seats, they have the switch on the side of the seat. Whereas your Town Car, and pretty much every other one, has the switches on the door.

Town Car Signature seats would be perfect (pillowtop leather if you can find them). Though, those seats don't look like the original 86 ones (I don't think, not sure). They have the large headrests. Those were found on later Panthers. Maybe just the headrests were swapped.

I do know that the old lady loved this car, she had sheets on the back seat since 1987

Then maybe they're original. Towncars might have gotten those large headrests.
Does that have a moonroof? What Trim level Town Car is that?

that I'm not too sure of as I can't make out the badges in the current pictures I have, but yes there's a moon roof there

Welcome man. And if you ever find new seats I will have to seriously find a way to get your seats up to me if you have no use for them. They would be perfect in my car, correct color and all. I have the leather but the front seats are worn..rears were still decent 5 years ago when I installed seat covers. Anyways...

Nice car BTW looks really clean.

                            Does it have hydraulics?

Either way, I think it looks cool with the little wheels.

We have another member here (he isn't very active) that has a really nice Lincoln coupe with hydraulics and little wires that he built.

Get more pictures when you finally get the the car!
