what do those door pockets screw into?

Those pockets on the bottom of the door....both of my mercs had them but I never cared enough to look. They were bot without door speakers though so I don't know if they'd even fit on my doors.

What do they screw into? Would like some if it at all possible

    Dear Panthers,
In those door panels I carry my windshield scraper (in winter), a folding umbrella (in summer) and a tennis ball which is perfect for jamming gas pump handles on so I can go about my business when the convenience store has removed the little clips.

    Your uses?

Tennis ball sounds like a good idea.

the hard plastic carpet covered pockets on my doors have little hooks in the bottom that crab onto the door panel and then two long panel screws on each end that screw into the door itself. I mounted some 6.5" speakers in the corners by cutting a hole in the panel. The only problem is the pocket has a large casing for the screw hole and it now bolts down on top of the edge of the speaker's grill. It's hard to see unless you really look at it though so I never shaved it with my dremel. My wife keeps some books and pocket fabreez in her car in there... mine are usually un-used.

They screw into the door, there are slight differences in the inner door frame that have a hole drilled for screws, and slots for the top of the pockets. You can make those work with speakers that don't have that '90 or '91 angled thing. Your doors may even have the holes and stuff for the pockets.
