Locating Important Document papers on my GM.

i was wondering if you guys know where i can obtain all important paperwork or documents on my car for instance like the build sheet. i heard that they haide them somewhere in the car. does anybody where the locations of all these paperworks can be found in my car. The papers i am looking for are to have my car have more value if i ever plan to sell it in the future(Which i don't plan on).

under the back seat is a common spot. I've found them tucked into a slit in the foam on the seat bottom before

Also check under the hood insulation. Someone mentioned this spot in another thread.

Wow, I just found that paper like 2 days ago. I felt like I had just bought the car lol. Mine was under the drivers side seat tucked in under the wire. I didn't seem to notice it was there until I removed the seat track to wash the seats.

Oddly enough, my Town Car's interior is totally stripped and I have yet to run across one.

I never found one in my car either. I have the one for the 83 Mark VI that my seats came from though.

I found one under my drivers seat, it was all ratty looking though and fell apart in my hands. Do they only stash them in one spot per car? Or is this all over the car?

i found all the ones in my cars tucked in between the foam and seat springs of the passenger seat. you have to be very carfull that you dont rip it since the paper has turned brittle over the years.

Mine was under the driver's seat.

I have it stashed away somewhere. It has all the police stuff listed on there; kind of neat.
