    Carpet

How hard is it to take out the carpet when you have leather seats with power lumbar on both and other power options? (1995 GM)

I'm very protective of my car and dont want to get into something that will be hard to do. I dont have much free time because i go to college in the morning and then go to work in the afternoon.

Forgive me for creating numerous topics as im always trying to be careful and cautious.

Create away that what the site is for.

I have never been in an aero Grand Marquis but it cant be that hard to do. You unbolt everything that is in your way and jst unplug the electrical connections. On my car it is just 4 bolts for each seat. and then four to remove the seat belts then my carpet is free to come out after i remove the power seat connections. Yours cant be that different.

Thanks. I am going to try to remove mine today and wash it before the Rochester snow starts to fall. I have no idea what the previous owner did to my car but damn, he almost destroyed the interior! There's a few hard spots on my carpet that i suspect are from wear but that should be an easy fix.

      Nice cars BTW.

The seatbelt bolts are the worst. Not sure if its changed ,but it used to be a T50. Beyond that, its just a few bolts for the seats and any trim around the door openings.

Understand about the nasty carpet. I pressure washed the old carpet in my car. It had been used as a farm truck for years, and had chew spit spilled inside it in several places. I had it hanging on the fence and blasted away at it for a good hour before I was satisfied with the results. Carpet still looked a bit tired, but it was at least all one color and not stinky anymore.
