    96 MGM Digital Swap-In

    how much trouble is it to replace the original Analog Cluster with a Digital Cluster of the same year. i know the digital has more indicators and such, but wondering how much trouble it would be. it is a 1996 MGM
    1996 Grand Marquis White, 288,600 miles as of 4-3-09
    4.6L cvpi engine and pcm, Dual Exhaust, Blue Leather Interior, Keyless Entry and Remote Start, DOT Strobes, LED Front Marker Lights, Running 93 Octain Fuel.

    You'll need the computer and I'm sure the sending units for temp, and fuel??? Not too sure, hell you might need the harness as well.

      ok, my car has guages for Oil, Temp, Fuel and Alternator, was just wondering... thinking of tinkering with it.

        I had actually been wondering about doing the opposite on a '97 Crown Vic -- that is, putting an analog in, in place of a digital. Would it be possible and what would be required besides just the analog dash cluster?

        Sorry about hijacking the thread, but I figured it's a very closesly related question. Hope it's OK.
