    Ride engineered

Is it true that it is more rare to find a grand marquis that came with the ride engineered on the dash?

My 88 doesn't have it, but I can't tell no difference. My 84 MGM had ride engineered written on it.

Good reason for that. Nothing changed on the chassis until 92, and that was barely any change at all. The only signifigant change happened in 03.

It was only a dash thing on the older boxes. I've never seen an older box GM without it.

K thats what i thought but some guy that owned my car in the 80s said that it was rare and he also told me some other stuff about my car that was probably bullshit. Oh well thanks

yep, just a badge, it went away with the dash change in 88 I believe. The Grand Marq had the same suspension as the Vic and the Towncar. There were minor spring rate changes between models, and some had the optional touring package which provided a small rear sway bar, but the badge was on all of them as far as I know.
