    Speedo weirdness.....

This is a bit weird, but I took on a newer 90's Shit-10 (S-10) in the caprice and blew the guys doors off....But anyways...Dads speedo was bouncing like 3-5mph and after I buried it to the 85-90ish side it has smoothed right out...IDK what the F the deal is but its workin better, thought this might also work in a CV, etc....Jus wonderin what its problem was....Any insight on this might solve some problems for ppl later on...

Gadget's right... the speedo is more than likely wearing out.

You may notice its becoming more commonplace in the 140 speedometers in the Vics.
