without seeing the switch logic for the Olds, no idea how to make it work. it might not even be possible. unfortunately my evtm doesn't have the switch setup for the single window switches. I sort of doubt it would work tho. 3 wires means its just a basic on/off/on momentary switch. One wire would be +, and you'd get voltage at one wire or the other depending which way you moved it. The ford window switches have a + and a - feed, and 2 wires out to the motor. It actually switches polarity to the motor. I'm guessing the Olds motor had 2 sets of windings inside it, one for forward, one for reverse. The Ford motors have just a single winding.

I could go to the junkyard and pull the switches for you if they're still there.

Hmm, I don't know. I'll have to see how much the yard wants. Do you want the wiring to go with the switches?

ok, I don't know when I'll be going. How much wire do you want? just enough to splice into the existing wires in your car?

I don't know for sure about the switches, but you probably know that the motors just run by connecting 12 Volts across them in one direction to go up, then in the other direction to go down. It's easy to visualize how to do it with, say, a standard six-pole on/off/on switch from RadioShack ... don't know how your Olds switch is configured, though. If you can put your brain on the job and rig up your own circuit with the switch you've got, you're set.

I believe I am going to the junkyard this weekend so I'll grab the window switches and wires if I can grab the wires. I'll also be on the lookout for some nice clean unpeeling levers for me!
