that would be cool Phayzer...0-160 speedo in the Cobra TC...would make sense since Cobra Stang gauges are 0-160..arent they?
that would be kool to have gauges in the stock location...very kool.
sure is room enough for at least 3.

Yeah, I figured they probably were. Bet those are pretty spendy though, huh?

Some brands have 2-1/16" tachs available that fit pretty nice in the clock hole.

here's what I had in mind for the setup...
I know its a rough sketch, but it gives you a good idea of how it will look.

                Not bad, not bad.

What material are you thinking of for the surround?

                  Aluminum is most likely.

That's cool. I wasn't crazy about the look of my experiments with hardware-store sheet aluminum up against the chrome bezels, but then, there are better ways to do it. I guess it'd be nicest to find some 1/8" aluminum in an appropriate size ... know of anywhere that can be found in southeast MI?

They are pretty expensive... I think about $417 for the 6 mechanical gauge set. I little less for the 5 gauge, and even less for the electric sending units.

Aluminum is okay. Whenever I need sheet steel, stainless, or aluminum, I go to the local metal working shop. My dad does some stuff for them. They are open to the public too. They do all sorts of fabrication and such. They would cut you a nice piece of whatever you wanted. Also, if you knew where you wanted the holes you could have them burn them right in it for you. No work for you, and it wouldn't be too expensive either. The best part is the holes would all be in the perfect spot, and everything would be square; something I usually have trouble with.

I'd seriously try the local steel shops. If one you visit doesn't know, they'll probably know of someone who can help you.

                        This might help.

That sounds like a good thought, especially the possibility of laser cutting stuff in just the right locations. I do know of a welding shop that I had do a couple small jobs for me, so maybe I can check with them. Thanks!

Oooohh, you should do an engine-turned panel for it!
