finally pics of a digi cluster in an '84 vicky!!!!

here thy are jents the first pics of my digi cluster in the vicky! :club:   :megadeth: it's taken about 8 mounths to get this done only because i was almost complete with the '87-'88 cougar totally digital dash when i got the '89+ cougar/t-bird cluster finally working (found out that there was an anti-theft circut that needed a power that the diagrams i had didn't show)that i've been working with for years any way here's the pics.

i'll have a write up on this one and the '87 style as soon as possible. i've also have to change the green faces to blue to match the rest of the car.

actually once i got the the cluster working it only took a day to cut down the housing on the '89 and newer cluster to make it fit and get the alignment upto snuff like i said i'll have a write up soon i'm working on typing it up rite now.

              very well done!

I love to see people doing things like that. This reminds me of when I was younger (translates as "when I still had a lot of free time"). I did some projects that were similar. However none of mine ever looked nice enough to do anything with other than just play around with it on the workbench.

              Good job!

Not to mention you probably learned some useful troubleshooting skills as well.

hold up one second. the one shone at coolcats is the next generation of cluster back, the '85-'88 cluster that came on what is known as the fox body cougars and thunder chickens that i started working with and ended up not using, the one in my car is the '89 and newer one used in the mn-12 style cougar and t-bird. i'm trying to get ahold of bondocougar which is the guy at coolcats who found out about the 199+ mod on the fox style cluster to see if there is a mod for the cluster that i used. if i find out the info will be added to the write-up or posted here.
